EquiFibre is a high-quality purifying hoof packing, made with carefully selected all-natural ingredients including pure Tasmanian honey, natural minerals, and cotton.
EquiFibre is designed for use in the protection of deeper hoof crevices from infiltration of debris. It is perfect for use in deep cracks such as seedy toe, hoof wall resections, and deep central sulci in the frog.
We recommend cleaning out such cracks and crevices as best you are able then packing them tightly with EquiFibre, and then sealing the entrance with EquiMud for best results.
The cotton-based product provides a consistency that is brilliant for packing tight and staying put. When used in the frog central sulcus, EquiFibre has a second action in allowing the frog tissue to respond to pressure, encouraging growth and eventual shallowing of the sulcus.
EquiFibre contains no harsh or corrosive ingredients that are known to cause degradation of the beneficial microbiota such as copper sulphate.
A little goes a long way! EquiFibre will last you a long time if cared for thoughtfully.
For shallower cracks, crevices, and collateral grooves, EquiMud is recommended.

Must have in the hoof care kit.
By: Lilly on 21 August 2024Equifibre works well. Stays put and is drying too. Really hand to have in wet environments for any small holes or crevices or deep central sulci that could show up. I won't be without it now.

Excellent product
By: Janine on 31 July 2024Love this product! It stays put, even with wintery wet ground at the moment. I’ve found it best to have small pieces pre-rolled into little balls on hand ready to go for packing. It can get a bit fiddly at the time otherwise and my boy got a little impatient lol. I use a small drill bit to pack it into a small seedy toe hole and it’s working a treat. It smells so lovely too!
