These colourful stirrups were invented and designed for riders to make safety more attractive for them.
They fit regular 'english' stirrup leathers and wider fenders on stock and western saddles.
Ideal for treeless saddles and closed loop stirrup attachments.
They also have the added ability, when tilted to a 180 degree angle, to double as a ladder providing assistance when mounting your horse.
SmartRider 'Escape' Breakaway Stirrups come in the one width, 125 mm (5") so they would not be suitable for a small child.
The different sizes relate to the customer's weight to allow for the correct release.

The first-ever Two-Part Breakaway Stirrup to be made in such a revolutionary high-tech material, the Smartrider 'Escape' is made from a nylon compound and incorporates UV protection within its design, and is produced in a vast array of colours.
SmartRider 'Escape' Breakaway Stirrups come in a pair and in one width only, 12.5 cm (5"). They would not be suitable for a small child.
The different sizes relate to the customer's weight to allow for the correct release.
Fits stirrup leathers that are up to 4cm wide in the small slot, or up to 6cm wide (such as western or stock fenders) on the wider part of the neck.
The foot base measures 2 1/2" or 5.5 cm wide.

Love these stirrups

They are so comfortable and the added bonus of being able to use them to get up is fantastic (Ace is over 16hh so hard to mount from the ground as I’m short). No falls yet to report how effective the breakaway is but so far I love them.

Light weight -very sturdy

No fall yet!
